  • Is Vox really free?
    Yes. Vox is free for personal use, forever — no subscription, no account, no catch. Donations are voluntary and unlock nothing; the app you already have works exactly the same whether you give or not.
  • Do I need an account to donate?
    No. Checkout takes a card or Apple Pay through Stripe — no Vox account, no sign-up, no password. We never ask for your name or email; Stripe collects only what the payment itself needs.
  • One-time or monthly?
    Both work — tap whichever you like in the box above. Monthly is selected by default because steady support is what keeps ongoing work going, but switching to one-time is a single tap, and you can cancel a monthly contribution any time through the receipt Stripe emails you.
  • I already donated — why is Vox still nudging me?
    Because Vox has no accounts and no tracking, it genuinely can't tell who has donated. Open Vox's menu-bar icon and tap “I already donated” and the nudges stop. That's the trade-off for a tool that keeps everything on your Mac.
  • Is my donation tax-deductible?
    No. Vox is made by a small for-profit studio (RizenHQ by Resonance Logic, LLC), not a nonprofit, so contributions aren't tax-deductible. They're simply a way to support work you find useful.
